48forty is thrilled to be participating in the Retail Industry Leaders Association’s LINK2020: The Retail Supply Chain Conference next month. (Fun fact – it’ll be 48forty’s first time there!)

Several members of our team are making the trip down to Dallas, including Glenda Moyer, National Account Manager; Jon Holthaus, Director of Retail Business Development; Kyle Eberlin, VP of National Sales and East Area Operations; and Natalya Calleja, Director of Marketing and Customer Experience. Together they have a combined 98 years of industry experience! Everyone is gearing up for what’s sure to be an action-packed conference.

Here's why our team is excited about LINK2020:

1. Meeting and connecting with industry professionals.

With more than 1,800 in attendance, we’re excited to talk with our peers and other retail supply chain professionals. There are plenty of opportunities to meet face to face, from networking events to the Expo Experience.

Members of our team will also be at the Expo Experience. Don’t hesitate to stop by our booth and say hello! We'll be in the exhibit hall at booth 717, to the left of the main entrance and across from FedEx. 2. Seeing our current customers.

You know as well as we do – retail supply chain professionals are busy! It can be difficult to get to know those you work with during the typical business day.

While at LINK2020, we’re delighted to take some time to touch base with our current customers who will be in attendance. We’ll discuss your pallet management program and can’t wait to hear about any opportunities for streamlining operations.

We’ll also have more information about PalTrax, our online customer portal. It makes critical information and services available 24/7 from any internet-connected device. Whether you’re in the office or on the go, you can manage and report on your pallet program easier than ever before.

All in all, we’re just excited to see our current customers.

3. Learning from others.

From what we’ve heard, a cornerstone of The Retail Supply Chain Conference is learning! Retail professionals are able to attend all sorts of sessions to gain new insights and take back fresh ideas and best practices to their companies.

By that same token, we want to learn from you. What challenges are you facing in your day-to-day operations? What data about your pallet management program do you want from your supplier? Do you have an onsite pallet management program?

As an asset-based pallet supplier, we work to effectively manage our retail customers’ supply chain and logistics. 4. Sharing our solutions.

We know you’re probably not excited about pallets – and that’s okay, because we are passionate about them. (Really.)

In addition to connecting with and learning from other retail supply chain professions, we can’t contain how pumped we are to share more about our retail pallet management solutions and how our expertise can help you optimize your operations.

From our perspective, pallets should be the last thing a retail supply chain team has to think about. Pickups and deliveries should be seamless. However, it’s no secret that there are many pallet suppliers that fail to deliver on their promises. They can’t meet volume requirements or make on time deliveries or retrievals because they do not have the capacity or 100% control of their operations.

As the largest asset-based pallet supplier in North America, we own all or most of the assets necessary to support a customer’s supply chain. This includes the warehouses, distribution centers, trucks, and of course, the pallets.
